Naphtha

Naphtha is light distillate obtained in crude oil processing by distillation. A direct product of CDU (Crude Distillation Unit) in refineries, various quality of Naphtha is available based on the Crude Oil used and the properties of the CDU.

Naphtha is further processed to produce Gasoline, Various petrochemicals and also used as feed stock in various industries as well as burning fuel in power plants. Light Naphtha with higher octane number is used in Gasoline blending. Heavy Naphtha is usually subtracted reprocessing to segregate Aromatics like Benzene, Toluene, etc.

Gasoline

Gasoline is produced by blending various components obtained from primary and secondary processing of Crude Oil. Gasoline, also known as Petrol is the preferred fuel for internal combustion engines.

White Spirit

White Spirit is a mixture of aliphatic and alicyclic C7 to C12 hydrocarbons. It is used as an extraction solvent, a cleaning solvent, a degreasing solvent, and a solvent in aerosols, paints, wood preservatives, lacquers, varnishes and asphalt products. White spirit is the most widely used solvent in the paint industry.

Kerosene

Kerosene oil is a flammable liquid which is used in many industries and homes around the world as a fuel for light, heat and power. It is generally non-viscous and clear; Kerosene’s uses vary dramatically from fuel for oil lamps to cleaning agents, jet fuel, heating oil or fuel for cooking.

Gas Oil

A middle distillate from primary distillation as well as produced by cracking residues, Gas Oil is used in Automotive sector, construction industry, power generation and as Marine fuel for boats and smaller ships.

Low sulphur Gas Oil is as cleaner as burning Gasoline.

Fuel Oil

Fuel Oil is used in larger ships as fuel for main engine and power stations for producing electricity.

It is usually blended using distillation residues and upper middle distillates to the requirement of various industries.

Rock petroleum is active in blending various grades of Fuel Oil, ie, standard grades of 380 cSt, 180 cSt or custom required viscous levels and various sulphur levels.
